Abstract
Sir, Staurogyne thyrsoidea O. Kuntz (Acanthaceae) is considered an endangered species in Bangladesh. The plant has so far been found only in the Rema-Kalenga sanctuary in Sylhet Division of the country, where it is known as utlenga.
